City of Jefferson
Over the years, AMG established a reputation for being experts in municipal accounts, most notably the San Antonio Economic Development Foundation for more than three decades. We are looking forward to continuing that legacy with the Tourism Council of the city of Jefferson. With over 2,000 residents, Jefferson is located in Marion County in northeastern Texas. We will be applying the same AMG expertise for developing successful branding campaigns and strategic marketing plans to this historic town. In fact, we’ve already started.
Earlier this month, our team visited Jefferson for an in-depth immersion session, which included a marketing program audit, SWOT analysis, and one-on-one interviews with influential civic and business leaders. With phase one complete, we are now exploring recommendations for their marketing plan and developing brand concepts. Our goal is to increase overnight stays. We loved meeting the wonderful people of Jefferson and are grateful for the opportunity to build the city’s brand and reputation as a charming place to visit, live, and work.
McNay Art Museum
We’re pleased to announce that we’ll be working with the McNay Art Museum on developing and redesigning their new website. As the first modern art museum in Texas, the McNay is home to more than 22,000 works, including sculptures, art glass, and masterpieces from the Renaissance up to the 21st century.
We had a thoughtful approach to this pitch from the start. We assembled our team to deliver an in-person pitch that came with customized gifts – supersized cans of soup that cleverly delivered agency facts and a copy of the RFP. Excitement was in the air as a lively Q&A followed. In the end, the pitch was a work of art. We can’t wait to put our many years of experience designing and programming first class websites to work in this partnership with the McNay.
We love working with clients who push themselves with bold ideas to distinguish their brand. And that’s certainly true of our newest client, Pizza Patron. Founded in 1986, this one-of-a-kind pizza chain has seen explosive growth thanks to some innovative marketing campaigns and franchise distribution. With nearly 100 locations around the country, they’ve become the nation’s premier Latino pizza brand. Two of those campaigns were Pizza Por Pesos, allowing consumers to use pesos to purchase one of their handmade pizzas, and Pizza Por Favor, where free pizzas were offered to anyone ordering in Spanish.
It’s a privilege for AMG to serve as Pizza Patron’s new agency of record. We’ll be handling everything from media planning and buying to creative development and social media support for major campaigns. We’re looking forward to producing more innovative campaigns that will bring their unique flavor to new communities.
