Anderson Marketing Group is in search of an experienced Social Media Specialist.

The ideal candidate should be highly organized, creative and an excellent communicator that lives and breathes social media. Strong writing skills are a MUST. We need someone that can hit the ground running! This is a hybrid position that requires presence in the office three times a week

Candidate will oversee Social Media campaigns which include but are not limited to: research, strategy development, campaign & content creation, execution, monitoring and reporting.

Candidate will be responsible for maintaining several client social media accounts at various levels.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with clients to create a social media strategy that compliments the overall marketing plan
  • Create both paid and organic strategy for all accounts, working with account service and media to ensure strategy is executed optimally
  • Create timely and engaging social media content optimized for platform used and intended audience
  • Analyze and report social media actions on a monthly basis for successes and new opportunities
  • Develop content calendars for clients that implements the organic strategy created
  • Research top influencers, competitors, and trends in clients’ industries
  • Create engaging and professional visuals that reflect client and their brand
  • Collaborate with Anderson staff including media, digital strategist & executives, art directors, and digital/web developers on social media projects
  • Reputation management as it relates to client and Anderson social media accounts
  • Prepare and present social media proposals and strategy recommendations for new business and current clients

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Advertising, Public Relations or related field
  • 2-4 years managing social media accounts for a variety of clients/organizations/events
  • Experience creating visual/graphic content including photography & videography
  • Proficient in Adobe CC (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.) 
  • Proven success with social media campaigns and the ability to articulate these successes from strategy development through execution and metrics
  • Experience with TikTok/vertical video content creation
  • Passionate for staying current with social media trends 
  • A self-starter with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
  • Solid problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Works well independently and as part of a team.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with quick turnarounds
  • Experience achieving measurable business objectives

NICE TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience executing influencer campaigns
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices as it relates to social media digital/online marketing
  • Experience managing paid social media campaigns and budgets
  • Comfortable in front of and behind the camera
