Account Executive

Anderson Marketing Group seeks a highly driven, passionate Account Executive with a minimum of 5 years agency experience to join our award-winning team.

The Account Executive is responsible for the day-to-day management of client accounts. They should be adept at communications and able to handle a broad variety of tasks with increasing independence and sound judgment. They are pro-active, highly organized and accountable for decisions.


  • Key day-to-day contact with clients, creative teams and other agency partners
  • Managing client objectives, expectations and timelines and communicating changes/directions to internal team members
  • Owning client relationships and developing long term account strategy
  • Ability to listen, interpret, and challenge client direction and clearly communicate said direction to the internal teams
  • Participates in creative process and selling creative by understanding core business strategy and brand objectives
  • Oversee assigned media, engagement marketing, budget coordination, meeting planning coordination, creative, and/or production activities carried out by the agency on behalf of the client
  • Lead project meetings and develop status reports to ensure projects stay on track
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, team members, other agency partners, and external industry peers/colleagues
  • Work closely with digital strategist understanding analytics reports and apply sound judgment to make recommendations based on data/findings
  • Build deck presentations and recap decks/reports
  • Project management/workflow system data entry and reporting
  • Strategic Planning and Execution
  • Support leadership on various accounts and/or projects, as needed
  • Participating in the agency’s new business and proposal efforts, as requested by leadership
  • All other duties as assigned


  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 – 7 years of agency experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • High level of initiative; takes accountability for role on projects
  • Fast-paced team environment
  • High degree of professionalism
  • Have a great attitude and assume a high level of enthusiasm and be able to respond well under pressure
  • A strong focus on accuracy, attention-to-detail, and timeliness
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills with a keen ability to keep supervisors properly informed
  • Self-Starter
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to contribute to ideation, strategy development and strategy support
  • Ability to proactively problem solve, mind the details, and see the big picture

  • A solid understanding of the advertising business and an agency’s functional processes, technologies and terms.
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Knowledge and experience with digital strategy is a plus

Social Media Specialist

Anderson Marketing Group is in search of an experienced Social Media Specialist.

The ideal candidate should be highly organized, creative and an excellent communicator that lives and breathes social media. Strong writing skills are a MUST. We need someone that can hit the ground running! This is a hybrid position that requires presence in the office three times a week

Candidate will oversee Social Media campaigns which include but are not limited to: research, strategy development, campaign & content creation, execution, monitoring and reporting.

Candidate will be responsible for maintaining several client social media accounts at various levels.


  • Work with clients to create a social media strategy that compliments the overall marketing plan
  • Create both paid and organic strategy for all accounts, working with account service and media to ensure strategy is executed optimally
  • Create timely and engaging social media content optimized for platform used and intended audience
  • Analyze and report social media actions on a monthly basis for successes and new opportunities
  • Develop content calendars for clients that implements the organic strategy created
  • Research top influencers, competitors, and trends in clients’ industries
  • Create engaging and professional visuals that reflect client and their brand
  • Collaborate with Anderson staff including media, digital strategist & executives, art directors, and digital/web developers on social media projects
  • Reputation management as it relates to client and Anderson social media accounts
  • Prepare and present social media proposals and strategy recommendations for new business and current clients


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Advertising, Public Relations or related field
  • 2-4 years managing social media accounts for a variety of clients/organizations/events
  • Experience creating visual/graphic content including photography & videography
  • Proficient in Adobe CC (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.) 
  • Proven success with social media campaigns and the ability to articulate these successes from strategy development through execution and metrics
  • Experience with TikTok/vertical video content creation
  • Passionate for staying current with social media trends 
  • A self-starter with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
  • Solid problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Works well independently and as part of a team.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with quick turnarounds
  • Experience achieving measurable business objectives


  • Experience executing influencer campaigns
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices as it relates to social media digital/online marketing
  • Experience managing paid social media campaigns and budgets
  • Comfortable in front of and behind the camera
