AMG is coming up on 50 years as a full-service marketing group. A lot has changed in that time and to keep up, we’ve had to evolve with the industry. But we never forgot where we came from or the timeless practices that got us here. We’re still masters of traditional print, TV and outdoor ads, but we’ve added digital, social and interactive media, not to mention our in-house video production. We created our #Since70 campaign as a reflection on how far we have come, but also as a trajectory to how far we can go.
We’ve been around long enough to know that age gives us an edge, and we’ve picked up a few other things. Maintaining and building strong client relationships is essential. Simple is better. Design has to catch the eye. Copy has to engage quickly. Always be interesting, on strategy, on budget and on time. You can’t overestimate the power of research. You have to know where you came from to know where you’re going.
