For our Christmas video this year, we had a few goals. First of all, we wanted to do something contemporary and modern, but something that would let us show off our silly side. We also needed to let our clients know that we would be out of town for the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day (December 26 to January 2).
That’s when it hit us. The ‘Mannequin Challenge’ had been circulating around the internet for a month or so before we began concepting, and we thought this would be a perfect avenue for us to get out our holiday message. We had our office decorated, and our stockings were hung by the chimney with care. All we had left to do was shoot it and add our own spin.
Shootz Production Group’s Wesley Hatley filmed the video, and AMG’s Wayne McWilliams put the finishing touches on the video by editing and adding transitions and effects.
“It was a perfect way for us to touch on the hustle and bustle of the holidays,” says Tiffany Gabaldon, Art Director for AMG, who also concepted the ‘Mannequin Challenge’ Christmas video. “We’re running around the office trying to get things done before our vacation, and then boom. We all freeze, which is us finally getting to take our (well deserved) break.”
