Social Media Coordinator

As a Social Media Coordinator, we expect you to be up to date with the latest digital trends and social media applications (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Tiktok, Pinterest, etc.) and have a strong working knowledge of how to use these social media apps to drive traffic to relevant content. You will be assisting the Social Media Specialist in specific duties and tasks. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively.

Qualifications:

  • BA / BS in Marketing, Communications, English or related fields
  • 1+ years experience in social media or marketing
  • Must be able to show portfolio or recent examples of work

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in content management (content calendars, scheduling posts)
  • Know social channels and how to use them effectively, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Someone who can stay on top of social media trends and language and pick up a brand’s voice easily
  • Experience in Facebook & Instagram ads is a plus
  • Experience writing for a variety of audiences and formats
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  • Working knowledge of Adobe products is a plus (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Spark, etc)
  • Photography skills are a plus
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills are a must
  • Be self-starting, outgoing, and come heavily armed with multi-tasking abilities
  • Be familiar with managing and tracking campaigns across various channels
  • Someone who is adept at creative problem solving and is extremely resourceful and organized.
  • Someone who can work on multiple projects at once, meet deadlines and be flexible when timelines and priorities shift
  • A team player. Someone who has a positive attitude, excellent work ethic and strong interpersonal skills
