Caught up in the web

It’s official. Our web department just got bigger, stronger and smarter this month as we welcomed interactive developers Chris Alvarez and Kyle Jordan into the fold.

Chris’ experience ranges from the technical to the creative to the entrepreneurial. That’s right, this Reno native got his chops helping clients transition into the digital world as a co-founder of Rationale. Prior to that, Chris was a web production developer at another local agency. When Chris is not busy taming the web, he’s busy taming his adorable two-year-old daughter. And did we mention he plays the cello? He hasn’t played anything for us yet, but judging by his other talents we bet he’s pretty good.

Hailing from Dallas is young Kyle, a web developer fluent in JavaScript, PHP, CSS and pretty much every major web language. But what impressed us the most about Kyle is that he taught himself. Anyone who has ever tried this knows how incredibly difficult it is. Kyle honed his web development skills working first for a small agency in Dallas, then as a freelancer, and by constantly trying to find a balance between beauty and functionality in his work. Although he loves the web, he admits to be a sporadic twitter user. He’s also a reverse claustrophobic. We have no idea what that means, but we’re confident that our remodeled and expanded interactive division will make him feel in his element.

Chris and Kyle join Nate Turnage, our lead interactive developer, and are ready to take AMG’s web capabilities to a new level. Stay tuned, as you’ll be hearing a lot from this web trio and our new interactive ventures.
